Fall Colors

A few weeks ago my wife and I set out on a spontaneous adventure. That’s pretty unusual for us; we stick to our routine and our schedule pretty well and don’t go outside of it too much. But this year I had learned that people go on “fall color tours” in Michigan, and being from Iowa originally, I had never been on one.

Fall or Summer?

The weather is pretty unpredictable here in Michigan. Last week was certainly the beginning of fall, with highs in the low 60’s and upper 50’s; this week, though, it’s almost like being back in July. Today reached 75, and tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. (Okay, maybe not July, but early June at least.)
